Yes I know my windshield is pitted, the fucking thing won’t break all the way so I can get insurance to pay for it.

A sure fire way to get the windshield to break is to pop the hood, walk around to the front of the car, see something shiny, place the wrench you are holding to tighten the battery cable onto the hood, inspect the shiny thing, proceed to open the hood sending the wrench into the windshield cracking it in several places.
Or so I've heard.

What kind of fancy windshield do you have that exceeds the cost of your deductible?

I think you need to have a 6" crack or larger in your line of sight or something like that. I could just pay retail for it which would be $300 or so. It’s got mico-chips all over tho and it really bad in direct sun.

I’m surprised your insurance deductible is less than $300.
My windshield is somewhere around 100-150 installed, so cheap that even with only two minor chips on the passenger side (and thus almost entirely irrelevant) I keep getting tempted to replace it.

I think I have a $50 deductible
on windshields, but I need to check. We do one windshield a year on average between two cars. It’s the rocks they sand the roads with in the winter.

Not bad. I thought it would be more.

Huh, never occurred to me that there might be different deductibles. I don’t pay nearly enough attention to insurance.

Or hot water on a cold windshield

I’ve never seen truck nuts
in my country.
Is it me or are they the most pathetic pseudo-mascline thing conceivable?
